GET ALONG THE GURU AHLI WITH VCDLNUPI

 

I was one of the GURU AHLI member who was invited to join the VCDLN UPI summit in collaboration with BDS and GURU AHLI. Me along with Ibu Atie and Madame Heddy. Ibu Atie’s son drove us to Bandung and reached UPI safely, Alhamdulillah.

Our group was the first one who reach UPI. Fortunately we didn’t get trap in traffic jam, as end of December is a peak season for end year holiday. And Bandung is one of the favorite destination for vacation, lot of tourism objects here. 

The meeting began at 10 am hosted by Kang Dero of GURU AHLI, whereas the moderator and opening speech done by Mr. Khoirullah. He  explained about the VCDLN and BDS. Per him. UPI had been in collaboration with PGRI since 5 years ago, and the MOU signed by Prof. Dr. Unifah SPd MPd from PGRI.

After Mr. Khoirullah, then Mr. Ismail a CEO and Founder of GURU AHLI delivered his speech for GURU AHLI. He thanks to UPI for the invitation and engage us to the meeting. Then Dr. Yana as a guest speaker from UPI. He informed the number of faculties, the students and departments also about digital education system applied at UPI. He also explained that UPI has their own broadcasting or Multi Media department named TVUPI. Their Multi Media used by Government to broadcast the education. And they need to create more and more videos for Virtual learning. That is why they collaborate with many edupreneurs like GURU AHLI, TELKOMSAT, BDS and supported by sponsors who concerns for educations.

It is no doubt that edupreneurs like RUANG GURU, KAMPUNG INGGRIS, ZENIUS, COURSES had grown up rapidly, but most of them are corporates and profit sectors. They preferred to collaborate and elaborate with GURU AHLI. Why? because GURU AHLI offered the hybrid education system (online and offline through the apps). And the aim of GURU AHLI  itself is supporting the honorary teacher’s welfare. The UPI therefore, would like to support GURU AHLI, fully supporting, said Dr. Yana.

In the evening. Prof. Dr. Deni Darmawan presented his motivation of being success in life. He told us that he was a very poor boy who has a high dream. But he never dream to be a professor. He sold fried beans like peanuts, red beans and banana’s crisp to financed his study. After graduated his primary school he continued to SPG (SEKOLAH PENDIDIKAN GURU/TEACHER’S EDUCATION SCHOOL) and be an elementary school’s teacher. He still think about how to get some amount to have a high education, he wrote the papers and sold to the college students (hmm like I did when I was at high school). Then he continued his education to IKIP (UPI) Bandung, and slowly became a primary and high school teacher. He kept continue his college at UPI to get his second college degree (master), Mr. Darmawan then became a lecture and that time he said, the requirement of being a lecture must hold a master degree (S2).

He wrote lot of books and did the research for human brain in term of the ability to capture. The research done more than 2 years and recorded as his thesis. He was assisted and supported by neuroscientists, the research used the EEG system to prove that the quantum system applied to human being was totally wrong. The research he did for his doctorate. All his papers booked,  verified and confirmed by UNESCO for new discovery for the capacity and ability of Human Brain.

Professor Deni did not stop till doctorate only, he kept going to the high level. Every levels raised throughout the research and booked. His books are demanding to all over the world and converted into lot of languages. His book became a guidance book for education of all subjects.

 

He also advised all teachers, to do the research for their master (S2) and doctorate (S3), not by copying others. He said that the one who has knowledge or no can be seen clearly through the way of dressing, walking, talking and thinking.

Conclusion   

Never stop trying and be creative. Age is not a matter for learning to earn. Don’t degrade the people. They might be better than you think of.
